The radars computers will calculate the shift and determine whether the precipitation is moving toward or away from the radar, and how fast, then apply a corresponding color to those directions and speeds. This view combines radar station products into a single layer called a mosaic and storm based alerts. This view provides specific radar products for a selected radar station and storm based alerts. In addition you can look at local radar, satellite, river gage information and if appropriate marine information. Not sure where to begin?
